Learn how to use a Scythe

Step aside Poldark….the Astons’ Scythers are about to shake things up! As part of our grant from the Trust of Oxfordshire’s Environment (TOE), we have been able to purchase some Austrian scythes and rakes.

This is a free training course for up to six people who are prepared to commit to reguarly helping out maintain the field. "Regularly" isn't very well defined yet, maybe do 4 scything sessions a year of a few hours each.
